Perovskia Silvery Spire

Silvery-blue sage is a perennial subshrub that grows to a height of about 0.4-0.5 m. Its silvery-green leaves have a strong aromatic scent. Its purple-blue flowers bloom in clusters from June to September. It attracts butterflies and insects. It likes a sunny spot and well-structured soil, but also grows well in sandy soil. Its water needs are moderate. Older plants tolerate drought well. A perfect choice as a specimen plant, for both rural and Mediterranean gardens.
